This year has been a wonderful year for Margot! To celebrate Margot’s 2017, we’ve decided to write a “year in review” post. Featuring some of the important events and more of the year!
To start with, on January 10th, Margot attended Marie Claire’s Image Maker Awards.
During February, Nissan released a new advertisement featuring Margot. She became the new ambassador for Nissan’s Electric Vehicles and Intelligent Mobility.
In March The Hollywood Reporter had confirmed that Margot officially joined Marian. Margot’s LuckyChap Entertainment will produce the film. On April 21st, it was announced that Margot was set to portray Queen Elizabeth in Mary Queen of Scots. Margot has since been spotted on set during the year.
Margot returns to public events! On April 25th, Margot (finally) attended a new event, the 2017 Time 100 Gala at Lincoln Center in New York City.
In May, it had been announced that Margot would produce and star in the bank robber thriller Dreamland.
The Goodbye Christopher Robin official trailer was released in June. The film then was set to be released in October (USA). Also in June, Margot’s project I, Tonya was secured for the Toronto Film Festival.
Margot made a small appearance by attending the Zimmermann London Flagship Store Celebration on June 27th.
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed in August that Margot would produce a Sci-Fi thriller for Warner Bros. It was rumored that Warner Bros. were developing an untitled Harley Quinn and Joker movie featuring Margot Robbie and Jared Leto.
September was the month Margot became busy again! By attending events and more. Margot attended some Toronto International Film Festival events to promote I, Tonya.
Other events during September included the Goodbye Christopher Robin Press Conference and Premiere, The Graham Norton Show and Nissan Futures 3.0 – The Car and Beyond.
Events in October included I, Tonya during Hamptons International Film Festival 2017, ABC’s Good Morning America, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Goodbye Christopher Robin New York Special Screening & Reception, and finally ELLE’s 24th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration.
In October, the I, Tonya official teaser was released, and then the redband trailer was released in November.
November and December were busy months for Margot! Margot attended events mostly to promote I, Tonya. Check out the rest of the Appearances from 2017.
Margot was featured in various interviews during December including Time Out New York, The Hollywood Reporter’s First-Ever Live Roundtable, and Los Angeles Times’ The Envelope.
Also in December, Margot received nominations for 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
